BRIXMOR PROPERTY GROUP ANNOUNCES CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND PRESIDENT JAMES M. TAYLOR TO TAKE TEMPORARY MEDICAL LEAVE OF ABSENCE

NEW YORK, April 11, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Brixmor Property Group Inc. (NYSE: BRX) (“Brixmor” or the “Company”) announced today that James M. Taylor Jr., the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and President, is taking a temporary medical leave of absence, effective April 11, 2024. The Company’s Board of Directors appointed Brian T. Finnegan, the Company’s Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, to also serve as interim Chief Executive Officer and President until Mr. Taylor’s return.

Sheryl M. Crosland, the Company’s Chair of the Board, said, “The Company, including the employees and the Board of Directors, send our best wishes to Jim and look forward to his return in the near future.
